Fred D. Faulkner

Fred has more than 25 years’ experience in the operation and management of commercial real estate businesses specializing in development, finance, investments, site selection, sales, leasing, property management and asset management. In early 2006, Faulkner formed a new company – Faulkner Healthcare Real Estate – that is specifically targeted to the development and acquisition of healthcare-related real estate, such as medical office buildings and other healthcare real estate ventures. Before he established Faulkner Real Estate in 1996, Fred was president of HFH Commercial Properties, Inc., from 1988 to 1996. Prior positions also include managing the Florida region for a regional real estate development company and broker for a Louisville-based commercial real estate brokerage company. Fred has a Bachelor Degree in History from the University of Kentucky College of Arts and Science. He is also a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM). |

Lee Hasken
Partner and Executive Vice President of Development
Lee is responsible for the management of the entire development process. From the initial design idea through land zoning, site development, bidding, and construction, Lee controls the development process by coordinating construction activities with contractors, architects, engineers, and other trade contract administration; by overseeing environmental concerns and remediation, if needed; and by providing support to leasing and sales associates. With the ultimate responsibility of development quality and cost control, Lee prepares ongoing reports for the owners outlining the status of each project. Prior to joining Faulkner in 1997, Lee was senior director of operations with Unison Commercial Group, Inc., where he was responsible for the management of a commercial office portfolio of one million square feet, including new and historic property. Lee received an Associates Degree in Real Estate from Jefferson Community College, a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Louisville, and a Master of Business Administration from Bellarmine University. |

Bryan E. Kiesewetter

Chief Financial Officer
Bryan is responsible for managing and directing all financial operations for the company. As a former director with Holliday Fenoglio Fowler, L.P., (the largest commercial mortgage banking firm in the country) and its predecessors, Bryan has been directly involved in arranging more than $1.5 billion of debt and/or equity financing for real estate projects across the country. Bryan also holds a real estate broker’s license in Kentucky and Florida. He received both his Bachelor of Science in Marketing and his Master of Business Administration from Bowling Green State University. |

Steven E. Higdon
Partner and Executive Vice President of
Business Development
Steve is responsible for marketing, business development and acquisitions. Prior to joining Faulkner, Steve worked at Greater Louisville Inc., the Metro Chamber of Commerce, for eight years, the last six as president and chief executive officer. Under Steve’s leadership, GLI was instrumental in a number of important community initiatives, including the successful campaign in 2000 to merge Louisville and Jefferson County governments, the attraction of the UPS $1.2 billion Worldport hub expansion, and the creation of Every 1 Reads, America’s most aggressive literacy initiative aimed at having all 98,000 Jefferson County public school children reading at grade level by 2008. Prior to GLI, Steve worked for United Parcel Service Airlines for eight years, serving in many different capacities, including economic development manager, passenger service sales and marketing manager and air cargo marketing manager. Steve graduated with honors from the University of Kentucky, where he received his Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. |

Bryan Russell

Bryan is responsible for managing and directing leasing, property management and marketing operations for the company. Prior to joining Faulkner in 2008, he spent more than 20 years in the commercial real estate business, most recently 10 years with NTS Development Company (AMEX:NLP). At NTS, Bryan served as executive vice president and was responsible for the company’s income portfolio including multi-family and commercial properties located in the mid-west and southeastern U.S. His responsibilities included property management, leasing and portfolio acquisitions and dispositions. Before joining NTS, Bryan served with Dallas-based developer Paragon Group, managing its Louisville office. Bryan is a member and a past council member of the Urban Land Institute and is also a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM). Bryan received a Bachelors Degree in Finance from Texas A&M University and a MBA from the University of Texas at San Antonio. |

Paul W. Croce

Paul joined Faulkner in late-2005 to help the company streamline and expedite property transactions. He primarily concentrates on property closings, corporate and partnership agreements, lease arrangements and other often-complex legal issues. Before joining Faulkner, Paul operated his own practice, focusing primarily in the areas of business transactions, corporate law, residential and commercial real estate transactions, acquisitions and mergers, and civil litigation. His clients included a number of regional and national businesses, real estate developers and builders. A Louisville native, Paul graduated from the University of Louisville School of Law in 1995 and is admitted to practice law in the states of Kentucky and Indiana. |

Charles R. Harrell
Director of Property Management
Charles brings with him narly 20 years' experience in commercial asset management, property management and leasing. Most recently, Charles was with Insignia/ESG in Washington, D.C., where he was responsible for 2 million square feet of suburban office properties. Prior to Insignia/ESG, Charles was with Koger Equity, Inc. in Charlotte, N.C., where he oversaw three office parks. While with Koger, he also spent time in Tulsa, Okla., and Little Rock, Ark., where he leased and managed office properties. Charles received his Bachelor of Business Administration and his Master of Business Administration from Texas Christian University. |

Lisa M. Mills
Marketing Director
Lisa provides direction for the Faulkner Healthcare’s marketing materials, market research, advertising and event planning. Prior to joining Faulkner, Lisa was marketing director for Greater Louisville Inc., the metropolitan area’s chamber of commerce and primary economic development organization, where she provided marketing leadership and support for market research, advertising and special projects. Lisa has more than 15 years experience in marketing and economic development, including eight years with the Greater Louisville Economic Development Partnership. Before joining Greater Louisville Inc. in 1989, she worked in marketing and administration for a local start-up company, and has worked in a variety of positions for several national and international companies. Lisa is a Summa cum Laude graduate of Spalding University in Louisville, Ky., with a Bachelors degree in Marketing. She is a member of the Spalding University Athletic Advisory Council, Kentucky CCIM Program Committee, Every 1 Reads Communications and Marketing Committee and the Cabbage Patch Marketing and Communications Committee. |

Jeffrey R. Ellison
Medical Leasing Director
Jeff works to attract and retain high-quality tenants for Faulkner’s extensive medical office building portfolio. His responsibilities include working with hospital administrators to develop physician recruitment plans, support hospital system space requirements, prepare market rent analysis and patient demographic reports, negotiate leases and coordinate the transition to occupancy. Prior to joining Faulkner, Jeff was a portfolio manager for US Bank in Cincinnati, Ohio where he was in charge of managing and servicing a $250 million commercial real estate loan portfolio. Jeff graduated with honors from the University of Kentucky, where he received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree with an emphasis on Finance. |
